How to increase internal memory of rooted android device (Link2sd Extreme method)
Hello folks, today I’m here with an awesome trick to increase internal memory of your rooted android device with memory card 2nd partition using Link2sd Extreme method. This is really very helpful and effective process for low end android devices having low internal memory (like Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360 for example).

Requirements:-
A rooted android device running stock or custom ROM (obviously with memory card support), at least a class 4 sd card (class 6 recommended), link2sd.apk, Root explorer.apk, a little time and patience.
Procedure:-
1) At first, your phone must be rooted, it’s compulsory. If you don’t know what root is, please see any post on the internet covering root procedure of your specific device.
2) Now let’s proceed to the next step. Create a 2nd partition on your sd card as an EXT partition (EXT4 recommended) using MiniToolPartitionWizard in PC.
(P.S.- If you are using a 4GB or lower sd card, make the EXT partition of 512MB max. If your sd card if of 8GB or more, you may create the EXT partition up to 1GB).
3) After creating partition, put your sd card back in your android device. Now download Link2sd and Root explorer from the given link.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ovnewj8igc7uaq0/RequiredApps.zip
Extract the zip, and install the apps.
4) Now open Link2sd and allow superuser permissions. After opening for the first time, it will give an option to choose the 2nd partition (a.k.a. mount script). Choose it as you created (i.e. EXT2 or EXT3 or Ext4).

As I created an EXT4 partition, I’m choosing Ext4. After success, click ok (P.S.- Don’t reboot device now. Just click on OK).
Open Settings in Link2sd and uncheck the following- “Relink lib files at boot” and “Relink dex files at boot”.
Just uncheck both check box, and don’t click on auto link.
Scroll down and you will see an option named “Install location”.
Click on that and choose “Internal”.

Now Reboot your device.
5) After rebooting, open Root explorer and allow superuser permission.
Mount your system as r/w (i.e. click on the “Mount R/W” button at the top of Root explorer).

It should now look like this pic.

Open data folder and scroll down to the end.
You should find a folder named sdext2 there.

Open the sdext2 folder. It should be blank (If not, clear it).
6) Now go back to data folder and select the following four folders- app, app-private,
dalvik-cache, data.

And copy the four Selected folders in the sdext2 folder.

7) Press and hold the app folder to bring up options for that folder. Scroll down and you will see an option called “Link to this folder”.

Click on that option and press back once to go back to data folder
And click on “Create Link” option.

Then click yes.

Do the same for the all the folders in sdext2
8) After following the above steps properly, Reboot your device.
Now check your device storage information.
And you should see the magic.
Install as many apps until your sdext partition gets full, and you will still see nearly totally free internal memory.
Disclaimer: we dont take any responsibilities of bricked devices !
